community engagement
We believe in a healthy home for everyone.
We’re partnered with GMCA on their Feel The Benefit campaign. We go to community events, town centres and markets across Stockport, Salford and Trafford to raise awareness about home improvement grants.
We can help you through the system, offer support and advice on your home.

FAQs

Feel The Benefit is a current campaign from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. We are helping Greater Manchester residents understand the support and funding available to them and encourage the uptake of domestic energy saving measures. One of the aims is to reduce energy bills and carbon emissions and make homes healthier in turn.

You might be able to qualify for fully funded home improvement grants if you are a homeowner or private tenant with a low income (under 31,000 in the household), have health conditions (anything to do with the heart, lungs, limited mobility or immunosuppression) or if you are in council tax band A-D.

Yes, if you aren't eligible for any home improvement grants we offer a free home assessment. This is 30 to 40 minutes with our Retrofit Adviser, to offer you advice on your home and ask any questions you might have about what you can do with your home.
-
Your home won't come up on the GMCA Retrofit Portal if you don't have an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) - reach out to us on email and we can give you a call to go through the system.

Please get in touch with us over email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
