  • Your Home Better operates as a non-profit cooperative and provides impartial advice

  • For a nominal fee you will receive an action plan of what is possible for your home and expert advice rather than dealing with salespeople directly

  • You only need to engage with a single Your Home Better contact rather than multiple contractors if having extensive work done

  • A Retrofit Coordinator will visit your home to ensure quality work is being completed

  • You can provide feedback prior to project sign off, and a Retrofit Coordinator will be there to mediate and resolve issues with contractors before completion

  • Receive impartial advice as to whether your home is suitable for a solar PV system with our Solar Survey at an introductory price of £120. This plan is suitable if you are looking to take part in our solar offer, which includes PV panels and battery storage installation.

  • Organise a bespoke Whole House Plan for your home produced by one of our retrofit experts for the introductory price of £450. Your personalised plan will cover home suitability for solar, insulation and heating and this is followed up by a 30-minute phone call with a retrofit expert to discuss your options.
