Our Whole House Plan offers a detailed, expert-led assessment to help you plan the most effective improvements. If you choose to go ahead, Your Home Better can provide quotes and manage the installation of your chosen measures.

Prices start from £495 for up to 4 bedrooms, £595 for over 4 bedrooms.

What’s included:

  • A visit from our independent expert advisor, who will assess your home and recommend energy-saving and retrofit options

  • A comprehensive whole-house survey – inside and out

  • Assessment of whether your home is heat pump ready, with improvement suggestions to help you get there

  • A discussion of your priorities using the 4Cs of retrofit:
    Cost, Cold, Comfort, and Carbon

  • Use of industry-leading software to identify the most effective retrofit measures and forecast potential savings

  • A bespoke Whole House Plan, showing how to take your home towards zero carbon

  • A breakdown of your home’s current energy losses, highlighting key areas for improvement

  • Targeted upgrade recommendations, tailored to your home, goals, and budget

  • Estimated installation costs, projected energy bill savings, and EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) uplift

  • After receiving your plan, a 30-minute call with our Retrofit Coordinator to discuss your options in more detail and answer any questions

Optional Services

  • Thermal Imaging – to visualise current heat loss + £55 (temperature permitting)

  • Borescope Inspection – check if cavity walls are insulated and assess the quality of any existing insulation + £55
